Next Wave

Next Wave is an existing brand that aims to support emerging artists in creating a world shaped by artists. As such, I was given the opportunity to rebrand 'Next Wave'.

 

This project was an extremely enjoyable one as I was able to create new assets as well as revise the brand language to sound more encouraging and supportive towards upcoming artists. I learnt a lot about holistically developing a brand and creating elements and applications to support my ideas.

Brand Identity and Brand Book

The bright colours and dynamic patterns are a reflection of the enthusiasm and passion of Next Wave in guiding young artists to reach their potential. The wave in the logo represents the forward-thinking nature of Next Wave, which is constantly evolving to meet the needs of its audience, hence helping them thrive in an ever-changing landscape. Next Wave's Brand Book provides all of the relevant information about the logo, variations as well as the brand's language, imagery and applications.

Digital Presence

From its colour scheme to the patterns and shapes used throughout the different sections, Next Wave’s website is an extension of the brand. With interactive features that are easy to identify and a clear navigation system, the website was created with user experience at the forefront. The encouraging and personal language used on their social media reinforces the brand’s interest of working with emerging artists.

Brand Merchandise

Merchandise helps a brand become recognisable. A well-designed brand identity ensures that its assets can be used in a variety of different ways. The merchandise above consists of Next Wave’s brand assets being used across numerous applications in different ways. This displays the versatility and longevity of the brand’s design.
