BIN IT
'Bin It' is a mobile application designed for housemates who struggle to manage and create a systematic routine for their household chores.
It does this by creating a task list, a monthly roster and by reminding each person when they are required to clean the space next.
Bin It thus consolidates the needed information into one app, making completing chores so much easier.
User Story & Experience Flow
The user story and experience flows were two methods I used to conduct research and create the different components of my app. These allowed me to identify the existing problems that hindered chores from being completed and allowed me to brainstorm ways around these issues.
Information Architecture (IA)
This was a crucial step to organise my thoughts and filter out what I needed, and what were merely extras, to create a successful app. Additionally, creating IA enabled me to design an app that flowed and had no loose ends.
