Novel Nav
'Novel Nav' is a mobile app designed to solve wayfinding issues at the Monash Caulfield library. It uses Augmented Reality (AR) and chat assistants that provide a step-by-step guide that they can follow to reach their desired location (within the library) quickly and easily.
The app also provides information about existing facilities in the library and how they can be accessed.
This was a group project where the majority of my contributions lay in the concept ideation, research and the Lo-Fi prototypes.
Researching the Library Space
As the app was supposed to be used in the Monash library, it was essential that my group members and I thoroughly understood how the different spaces in the library were positioned in relation to one another.
